Congratulations to the Smith School cast and crew of “Matilda the Musical,” who performed with perfection last weekend. "Matilda the Musical" is a stage musical based on the beloved 1988 children's novel "Matilda" by Roald Dahl. The musical features music and lyrics by Tim Minchin and a book by Dennis Kelly. It tells the story of Matilda Wormwood, a bright and courageous young girl with extraordinary intelligence and telekinetic powers. BRAVO!!!

Smith School 6th grade students traveled to Cavallini School for the county-wide Battle of the Books Competition! This year’s 6th grade was by far Ramsey's highest scoring team of all time.
Ultimately, the team took second place in a competition of 11 teams (a record number of teams !)

The Ram Jams, under the direction of Mr. Wolf, ROCKED the American Choral Directors regional conference last night with an amazing performance. They were also reunited with former RHS teacher and Ram Jams founder, Rebecca Saltzman.

Education is vital to shaping future leaders. At Ramsey School District, we strive to instill in our students the values of leadership, integrity and civic responsibility. We are reminded of this, especially today, as we honor the legacy of our nation's leaders.

The musical talent in our district is AMAZING! Last night's choral collage featured singing groups from Dater, Smith, and the high school. The groups performed separately and together in a fast-paced and exciting show featuring great songs and performances. Special thanks to our vocal teachers: Mr. Bogert (Dater), Mr. Ricigliano (Smith), and Mr. Wolf (RHS).
The arts are alive and well in Ramland!

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS! Congratulations to the middle school boys' basketball team. In the first year back after a decade with no middle school team, the Rams, led by Coach Taylor, captured the league title with a hard-fought 51-49 victory over a good Westwood team.
Education-based athletics are an important part of the Ramsey experience.
Another great day to be a Ram!
