🫶The GSA teamed with S.T.E.P. students late last month for a successful Friendship Cafe bake sale. S.T.E.P. at RHS launched the Friendship Cafe at the start of this school year with a mission to break down barriers and bring students of all abilities together.
On a monthly basis, S.T.E.P. collaborates with students from one other RHS club or sports team to support them in running a bake sale fundraiser.
All profits benefit the club or sports team of the month whereas the S.T.E.P. students have the opportunity to develop their interpersonal skills and vocational skills.
Ultimately, the partnership established between S.T.E.P. and the organization of the month creates a meaningful experience for all students and advisors involved, often leading to purposeful friendships and future projects together.
