๐ This year, Week of Respect is October 5th- 9th. ๐
What is it? Week of Respect is a New Jersey statewide initiative that focuses on creating safe, supportive, and inclusive school communities. During the week, students will participate in age-appropriate lessons and activities centered on respect, empathy, kindness, and responsible decision-making.
Why it matters: Building a positive school climate is about helping students learn how to include others, resolve conflicts, make thoughtful choices, and treat one another with kindness and respect. These skills help every student feel valued, welcomed, and connected to their school community.
Students are encouraged to participate in the following spirit days:

The bottom line: At Tisdale, respect is something we practice every day. Week of Respect allows us to pause, reflect, and celebrate the ways we can make our school an even more welcoming place for everyone!
