We were thrilled to welcome the Class of 2039 to Tisdale for Kindergarten Orientation! It was a wonderful opportunity for our newest Rams and their families to begin building connections with our school community before the start of the school year.
What's Happening: During Kindergarten Orientation, incoming students had the chance to learn more about Tisdale and meet many of the staff members who will be familiar faces in September. While parents attended an informational presentation, students visited each kindergarten classroom and participated in a variety of engaging activities led by our staff.
Big Impact: Starting kindergarten is an exciting milestone, and opportunities like Orientation help make the transition a positive one. By spending time with our staff, exploring our facilities, and becoming familiar with the school environment, students begin building confidence and comfort before their first day of school. These early experiences help foster a sense of belonging and lay the foundation for a successful start to their educational journey at Tisdale.
Next Steps: This event is part of a series of opportunities designed to help our incoming kindergarten students feel comfortable and excited about starting school. Signing Day, held during the winter, was the first opportunity for students to visit Tisdale. Kindergarten Orientation served as the second event, and we look forward to welcoming families back for our PTO Playground Playdate in August!
We are grateful to all of the families who joined us and look forward to welcoming the Class of 2039 back to Tisdale this fall!
