What’s Happening: Last week, our third grade students participated in a Bike Safety event held right here at school. This hands-on experience provided students with the opportunity to practice essential riding and safety skills using their own bikes and scooters in a structured, supportive environment. Instructors from EZ Ride guided students through important safety lessons and riding techniques, while the Ramsey Police Department assisted by registering bikes and conducting safety checks.
Big Impact: This event helped students build confidence while reinforcing the importance of safe riding habits. By practicing skills such as awareness, control, and following safety rules, students are better prepared to ride responsibly in their neighborhoods. Experiences like this promote independence while emphasizing safety, ensuring our students have the knowledge and skills to make smart decisions when riding outside of school.
The event was made possible with the help of our dedicated PTO volunteers and was thoughtfully organized by Mrs. Branagh!
