The Ramsey School District has been recognized as a Common Sense District by the national nonprofit, Common Sense, for its dedication to digital citizenship.
Why it matters: This designation highlights Ramseyโs commitment to preparing students for a digital world, promoting safe and responsible technology use.
The district focuses on teaching internet safety, privacy protection, and media literacy.
Over half a million educators nationwide use Common Sense Educationโs resources.
The big picture: We received a lot of coverage for our early adoption of cell phone free school environments, and this is another way that our District is leading on promoting healthy and responsible tech use.
Whatโs next: The district will continue using innovative resources developed with Harvardโs Project Zero to further enhance studentsโ digital learning experiences and is looking to expand on this work in 2026-2027. More news to follow on that!
