Our third grade Rambassadors continue to voice their opinions and take on leadership roles at Tisdale School as members of the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council!
What’s Happening: Dr. Matteo recently met with our third grade Rambassadors during lunch to discuss ways to improve recess. Students had the opportunity to share their thoughts, experiences, and ideas while enjoying a conversation together. In addition, the group spent time observing our second graders at recess to better understand how students engage during this time.
Why It Matters: Providing students with a voice in their school experience is an important part of building a positive and inclusive community. By listening to student perspectives and observing recess firsthand, we can make thoughtful, student-centered improvements that support social growth, engagement, and well-being. This process empowers students to be leaders and problem-solvers while helping us create a recess environment that meets the needs of all learners.
