ruler recharge

On Monday, April 6th, we held a RULER Recharge Day to help our students reset, refocus, and prepare for the final three months of the school year.

  • Students participated in teacher-planned rotation activities, allowing them to move from classroom to classroom while engaging in meaningful, hands-on experiences.

  • During these rotations, students revisited key RULER strategies and tools, including reflecting on and strengthening their Class Charter, using the Mood Meter to identify and express emotions, and practicing the Meta-Moment to respond thoughtfully in challenging situations.

  • Teachers also reviewed shared expectations, reinforcing what it means to be respectful, responsible, and ready to learn in all school settings.

  • These activities supported important social and emotional learning (SEL) skills such as self-awareness, self-management, and positive relationship-building.

  • The event provided a valuable opportunity to “renorm” as a school community, ensuring all students are aligned and set up for success as we head into the final stretch of the school year.

studentsBy practicing empathy, respect, and reflection together, we continue building a Tisdale community where every student feels supported, valued, and connected 🌟
