Second and third grade students participated in our annual Poetry Cafe on Monday, June 9th.
Why it matters: This special tradition is enjoyed by all, and allows students to be exposed to a new genre of writing where they can showcase their creativity. Students learned about poetry writing and different types of poems, and had the artistic freedom to share what’s in their hearts.
