On Friday, June 5, Smith's 8th graders completed their Junior Defense of Learning where they presented their work and reflection to a faculty panel, showcasing their discoveries, challenges and growth ask speakers and learners.
The motto was, "Be the change you want to see in the world" in which students picked a meaningful topic, researched it, and created a path for positive action. This is the third step toward becoming a Ramsey graduate. Centering on the Profile of a Ramsey graduate's Collaboration, Communication, and Reflection, helping bring personal interests into the classroom and applying their knowledge to real-world contexts.
