Hubbard School Play Day
Friday, September 11th
The Big Picture: We want to get to know our students and their interests even better, and what better way to do that than through play!
What You Need to Do: Children are invited to bring in games they love and know how to play well or favorite toys such as action figures, dolls, cars, building materials, and more.
Please do not send in electronics.
Why It Matters:
Students will spend the day engaging in traditional and imaginative play with their classmates, teachers, and specialists. They may play board games, card games, build, create, pretend, and explore activities brought in by their peers.
Play Day gives students an authentic opportunity to practice communication, collaboration, problem solving, critical thinking, and creativity while also discovering new games and interests.
Throughout the day, teachers will pause with students to reflect on their experiences, the choices they made, and what they learned about themselves and one another.
Most importantly, students will have time for something incredibly valuable: free play, connection, and fun!
