The Ramsey School District has been recognized as a Common Sense District by the national nonprofit, Common Sense, for its dedication to digital citizenship.
Why it matters: This designation highlights Ramsey’s commitment to preparing students for a digital world, promoting safe and responsible technology use.
The district focuses on teaching internet safety, privacy protection, and media literacy.
Over half a million educators nationwide use Common Sense Education’s resources.
The big picture: We received a lot of coverage for our early adoption of cell phone free school environments, and this is another way that our District is leading on promoting healthy and responsible tech use.
What’s next: The district will continue using innovative resources developed with Harvard’s Project Zero to further enhance students‘ digital learning experiences and is looking to expand on this work in 2026-2027. More news to follow on that!
