Music is about so much more than a performance. It gives students the chance to grow in confidence, try something new, and experience the joy of being part of something meaningful.

Through opportunities like the Celebration of Cultures show, our third grade students sang, explored different instruments, and learned language from cultures around the world. These experiences help students build important skills while also deepening their understanding of others and the world around them.

Music also teaches students how to listen, work together, and contribute to a group. As they prepare for a performance, they practice focus, teamwork, and perseverance. They also learn that growth often comes from trying something that feels new or unfamiliar.

Most importantly, music helps students find their voice. It gives them a chance to express themselves, build confidence, and feel proud of what they can do. These moments can have a lasting impact far beyond the stage.

A special thank you to Ms. McDonald for preparing our students so thoughtfully and for always seeing the very best in each and every Hubbard student. Her dedication helps create opportunities for students to shine in ways that will stay with them for years to come.
