A first grader was invited to enhance the preschool St. Patrick’s Day unit by introducing and teaching the students about Irish Step Dancing. She stepped into the role of a mini teacher right away, adjusting her teaching pace and routine based on the students’ needs and interests. She even came prepared with special outfits, shoes, and accessories, which helped bring the lesson to life and made the experience even more engaging for the preschoolers.

Her enthusiasm was contagious, and she created a memorable experience that was both fun and meaningful for the young learners. She always shines, but this was one of her brightest moments yet.

This moment matters because it shows that leadership and kindness can shine at any age. By sharing something she loves, she not only built her own confidence, but also inspired younger students to try something new. Moments like this are what make Hubbard feel like home, a place where students support one another, celebrate each other’s strengths, and grow together as a community.
