What's happening: Hubbard and Tisdale Schools officially kicked off the 2026 Signing Day festivities last week, marking a milestone for the district's newest students as they commit to their educational journey.
How it works: The unique, two-part event is designed to welcome the district's youngest learners into the fold:
Two Locations: Celebrations are split between Hubbard School and Tisdale School.
The Commitment: Incoming students "sign their names" on a letter of intent, symbolizing their transition to becoming "Rams for life."
Future Vision: This cohort is officially designated as the Class of 2039. π±
What theyβre saying: Parents were surveyed following the events as a means to share impact and usefulness of the event. Hereβs an example of what theyβre sayingβ¦
βThis was truly exceptional! I have many teacher friends in other districts and they do not have this. I love that Ramsey offers this! Well run and valuable!β - future Hubbard School Kindergarten parent.
Why it matters: Signing Day moves beyond administrative registration to create an immediate sense of belonging.
By celebrating this milestone, the district fosters school spirit and community pride before these students even attend their first full day of class.
A Shared Commitment: The RPEF provided a Rowdy stuffed animal to each incoming Ram while each schoolβs PTO purchased a Class of 2039 t-shirt for each incoming kindergarten.
As these Rising Rams embark on their educational adventure, they do so knowing they belong. ππ
Welcome home, Rams! π
