Why it matters: Paraprofessional Day happened over break… but appreciation doesn’t expire. So we hit pause on the calendar and play on the celebration once we were all back together.
The big picture: Our paraprofessionals are the para-mount support of our school—quietly doing work that keeps everything running smoothly.
What we did:
Students took the mic to share what they love most 💗 🎤
Stories ranged from “always helping me learn things” to “making hard days easier”
Plenty of smiles, a few happy tears, and lots of well-deserved applause
What makes our paras amazing:
They step in so learning never skips a beat
They lift up students with patience, care, and encouragement
They adapt on the fly (basically superheroes wearing capes)
They help classrooms run not just well—but wonderfully
Bottom line: We’re so grateful for everything our paras do!
