What's happening: The 4th grade students of Dater Elementary School gathered for a day they had eagerly anticipated all year—Field Day! With colorful team shirts, plenty of sunscreen, and a healthy dose of excitement, students rotated through a variety of fun-filled events including relay races, pickleball, capture the flag, and soccer.
Why it matters: While the physical challenges brought plenty of energy and cheers, it was the spirit of sportsmanship that truly stole the show. Students clapped for their classmates, encouraged their teammates, and even high-fived members of opposing teams. Field Day 2025 was more than just a day of games—it was a celebration of what makes Dater Elementary so special: teamwork, empathy, and the joy of growing together.
