What's happening: We are thrilled to announce that two of Ramsey’s outstanding athletic leaders have been named New Jersey Coaches of the Year by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association:
🏆 Drew Strohmeyer – Girls’ Soccer
🏆 Paul Urbanovich – Baseball
Why it matters: This prestigious award recognizes their exceptional dedication, leadership, and impact on our student-athletes. As New Jersey Coaches of the Year, Coach Strohmeyer and Coach Urbanovich will now advance for consideration as Section 1 Coaches of the Year, with the potential to move forward to the National Coach of the Year honors.
By the numbers: Ramsey had 2 of the 29 State Coaches of the Year.
Our small school was the only high school in the state to have more than 1.
There are more than 400 high schools in the state that participate in NJSIAA sports.
Please join us in congratulating them both on this well-deserved recognition! 🎉
