Following the powerful 9/11 Memorial Gallery Walk at Ramsey High School, the RHS community is turning remembrance into direct action with an upcoming blood drive on Friday, September 18th.

The drive is dedicated in honor of Greg Wachtler (RHS '94), a Ramsey native who lost his life at age 25 during the attacks on the World Trade Center.

Organized as part of the school's "Do Something" initiative, the event reflects a central lesson shared by Greg's mother, Mrs. Wachtler, during the gallery walk: "Loss can quiet us, but it should never stop us from giving to others."

Every donation helps meet a critical medical need in the area while directly giving back in memory of a former Ram. Please scan the QR code below to register.

  • Date: Friday, September 18th; 10:30am-3:30pm

  • Purpose: In Honor of Greg Wachtler (RHS '94)

Students, staff, and local community members who are eligible to donate are encouraged to sign up and participate. By rolling up our sleeves to save lives, RHS honors those we lost by building a stronger, more compassionate future.
