What's happening: Tisdaleās All-School Sing was a powerful celebration of empathy and the positive character that thrives within our school community.
Why it matters: Through music and shared moments, students reflected on recognizing and appreciating kindness in one another. Itās worthy to note our third graders who confidently guided the songs and inspired their peers.
What theyāre saying: āThrough music, books, poetry, and student participation, we learn about important character traits such as respect, empathy, and responsibility in a way that feels meaningful and exciting. My favorite part is singing our Tisdale song āWe're All a Familyā, which creates a strong sense of belonging and community across all grade levels. It's just so magical to hear hundreds of children singing all at once! These gatherings have become a joyful tradition that encourages school spirit, positive relationships, and a culture in which students feel seen and celebrated,ā -Samantha Campbell, Tisdale School Music Teacher
āThe All-School Sing is so much fun because we get to do songs with Mrs. Campbell and we have a lot of chances to get a reward for doing our best. Itās my favorite day of the month!ā -Sara Kathryn, 3rd Grader
āThe All-School Sing is special because we get to sing with every Tisdale friend. We get to learn the different songs in music class and sometimes you get to go up onto the stage to talk about the trait. We learn about the trait so we can do it more at school, at home, and in our community. Classes get rewarded for following the trait the best they can. Even if your class doesnāt win, you can be happy for your friends.ā -Maya, 3rd grader
