The Ramsey Boys and Girls teams achieved remarkable success by clinching the State Section title this past weekend. πŸŽ‰ This marks a historic win for the Boys, securing their first-ever title, while the Girls celebrated a repeat victory, winning the title for the second consecutive year and the second time ever.

Boys:

400m: Giorgio Bruttini secured 1st place, followed closely by Brendan Nepola in 2nd place, with Luciano Zizza finishing strong in 6th place.

55m: Brendan Nepola showcased his speed, finishing in 6th place.

1600m: Declan Finnegan dominated the track with a 1st place victory.

3200m: Declan Finnegan also earned 6th place, demonstrating his endurance.

High Hurdles: Giorgio Bruttini excelled, claiming 1st place.

High Jump: Brendan Nepola achieved a respectable 4th place finish.

Pole Vault: Luciano Zizza soared to 1st place, with Dan Stella following in 4th place.

4 Γ— 400 Relay: Brendan Nepola, Luciano Zizza, Zimo Liu, and Giorgio Bruttini clinched 1st place, setting a new section record.

Girls:

400m: Catherine Larsen - 1st place finish, joined by Emme Lockard in 4th place and Anna Steines in 6th place.

55m: Catherine Larsen sprinted to a 4th place finish.

1600m: Kaylee Finnegan - 1st place and new section record. Bella Marinaccio followed as runner-up, with Ava Sullivan in 4th place.

800m: Kaylee Finnegan - 1st place finish, while Ella McGhee took 3rd place, and Emmy Bender secured 5th place.

3200m: Kaylee Finnegan - 1st place with Bella Marinaccio in 2nd and Ava Sullivan in 3rd.

4 Γ— 400 Relay: Emme Lockard, Anna Steines, Kaylee Finnegan, and Catherine Larsen- 1st place victory.

High Hurdles: Catherine Larsen - 3rd place.

High Jump: Maddie Malatino achieved a 3rd place finish, with Grace McGhee taking 5th place.

Pole Vault: Jaye Mendel achieved a commendable 6th place.
