What's happening: On Saturday, more than 160 students from 10 schools arrived at Ramsey High School to live out their Pitch Perfect dream, competing in the International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA) Quarterfinals.
Why it matters: Ramsey High School’s two competitive a cappella groups, The Ramsey Blues and The Ram Jams, performed for a chance to advance to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Semifinals at the end of March. Both groups delivered outstanding performances, with The Ram Jams earning 1st place and the title of Quarterfinal Champion. 🏆
The Ram Jams’ three soloists, Olivia Vona, Ava Giaccio, and Maria Papson, also received Outstanding Soloist awards.
What’s next: The Ram Jams will compete at ICHSA Mid-Atlantic Semifinals on March 28th at 7:00 PM hosted right here at Ramsey High School, where they will be aiming to return to ICHSA National Finals for what would be their fifth appearance as one of the top nine groups in the country.
