What's happening: The Ramsey High School community is celebrating the Unified Ramsβ participation in the Special Olympics: Thanks4Giving 5K Dash/Walk on November 15th in Asbury Park.
Why it matters: The Unified Rams exemplify the power of inclusion and community spirit, with students from the Best Buddies Chapter and Unified Sports program running for a meaningful cause.
The event served as a significant fundraiser, collecting $2,080.
Half of the funds will support Special Olympics NJ, and the other half will enhance the Best Buddies/Unified Club and Unified Sports teams at Ramsey High School.
Inclusion in action: The Unified Rams bring students of all abilities together to compete and connect, embodying the motto βinclusion is more than an idea, itβs a way of life.β
