Ramsey has introduced a new Standard Response Protocol this year, in partnership with the β€œI love u guys foundation.” This new Standard Response Protocol (SRP) is streamlined is action-based, flexible, and easy to learn.

  • What is the SRP? A uniform, planned, and practiced response to any incident is the foundation of a safe school. The SRP (Standard Response Protocol) is action-based, flexible, and easy to learn. It rationally organizes tactics for response to weather events, fires, accidents, intruders, and other threats to personal safety.

Utilized and trusted by more than 45,000 entities worldwide, the SRP was created through research-based best practices, providing a common language for all students and staff to understand. In addition, Ramsey is providing video-based introduction and instruction to this SRP across the District.

The big picture: We have collaborated with the Ramsey Police Department and Office of Emergency Management on this initiative.
