Welcome to Ramsey School District!
The Rising Rams program encompasses both preschool and kindergarten students registering with the Ramsey School District.
Rising Rams was created as a means to connect with families of children who are looking forward to becoming part of our school community. It also provides students the opportunity to become acclimated to our staff and facilities prior to the first day of school.
Please review the detailed information provided below and within the provided documents. We are here to help with your registration should you have any additional questions.
STEPS TO A SUCCESSFUL REGISTRATION!
Whether you're applying for our Integrated Preschool Program, or registering for Kindergarten, simply follow our steps to a successful registration with careful attention to deadlines.
Step 1: Identify your school of attendance.
Step 2 : Complete the pre-registration on-line survey for each student you are enrolling into the Ramsey District.
Reminder for Preschool Applicants: Upon submission of all requisite application materials, your child will be integrated into our selection procedure. This process, designed with a comprehensive outlook, takes into account a multitude of factors aimed at establishing well-rounded and balanced classes.
Step 3 : Refer to general grade information below for detailed required registration documents.
Step 4: Once the pre-registration is submitted you will receive an email from ‘no-reply@realitinc.com’ with the subject ‘Ramsey Public Schools - Document Request.’ To complete the application process upload the required documents via the links in the email.
Please note: Students will not be considered enrolled until all documents and medical requirements are furnished.
KINDERGARTEN
Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten registration applications for the 2024 - 2025 school year will be available beginning February 1, 2024. To be eligible for Kindergarten, students must be 5 years old on or before October 1, 2024.
All prospective students must pre-register on the Ramsey School District website (www.ramsey.k12.nj.us) . Please note: Students who are currently enrolled in Ramsey's Preschool Program do not need to complete this step.
Once the pre-registration is submitted you will receive an email from ‘no-reply@realitinc.com’ with the subject ‘Ramsey Public Schools - Document Request’. To complete the registration process, documents must be uploaded via the links in the email. Document links expire after 30 days - please upload documents as soon as possible.
Children are not considered fully registered until all materials are received. Please contact the Main Office at your school of attendance if you have questions:

TUITION-BASED INTEGRATED PRESCHOOL
Integrated Preschool Program
Registration applications for the tuition based Integrated Preschool Program for the 2024 - 2025 school year will be available beginning January 3, 2024 at 12 noon. To be eligible for Preschool, general education students must be 4 years old on or before October 1, 2024. All students enrolled in the program will attend from 8:45a - 3:15p, five days per week. Students must be toilet-independent by September 1, 2024.
IMPORTANT: Please note 4-year-old enrollment will determine if the program will be extended to children who will be four by December 2024. At this time, only applications for children who will be four by October 1st will be accepted.
All students enrolled in the program will attend from 8:45a - 3:15p, five days per week. Tuition is $9,000/year or $900/month.
Once the pre-registration application is submitted, you will receive an email from ‘no-reply@realitinc.com’ with the subject ‘Ramsey Public Schools - Document Request’. Once a student is accepted to the program, you are required to complete the application process by uploading the requested documents via the links in the email.
