District faculty learned together during our professional development day on February 21. As we work to Develop a Ramsey Graduate, the staff continuously learn to adapt their teaching practices to align with current research and the needs of students.

• Teaching staff in K-5 worked to support our goal of Teaching For Understanding by working together to align class performance assessments to the skills we want students to master during their time in the Ramsey School. District

• Teaching staff in grades 6-12 engaged in a variety of sessions, which ranged from how to incorporate our Profile of a Ramsey Graduate competencies into everyday teaching, to differentiating for our students’ needs, and to how to prepare for artificial intelligence like ChatGPT and implications for our teaching.

One fun thing: Staff members also engaged in experiences centered on their own wellness.
