Tommy Strong
Tommy Strong Day: Yesterday, students throughout the elementary schools celebrated the life of Tommy Fitzpatrick, who would have been in the 4th grade this school year.
PreK-2 made bracelets to share acts of kindness in Tommy’s memory.
3rd grade painted Hearts of Hope which will be shared with the Tommy Strong Foundation as part of their Strong Boxes.
Dater students also made bead bracelets for StrongBoxes, which will be donated to the Women's Club in town, making special baskets for mothers with children in the hospital.
What they’re saying: “I think it's important to do things like this so that kids that are sick realize they have people out there thinking about them and hopefully it makes them smile.” Ben, Grade 3, Hubbard
