    Please use the Parent Portal to report your child absent before 8:30am. Click here for directions.

     

    After 8:30am or during the day, you are welcome to call the Dater Main Office at (201) 785-2325 to report a student absence.

     

    When you call please give the student's name, teacher's name and reason for absence.

    All students in grades K-8 are expected to attend school regularly.  No more than 18 absences may be accumulated during the school year.  This provides  amply  for  normal  illness  and emergencies.  Students exceeding 18 days absent will be considered excessively absent, and may be subject to grade retention.
