Y.E.S. (Youth Employment Services)Y.E.S. is a service sponsored by the PTSO that connects high school students that are looking for paying work with potential parent or outside employers. Possible jobs might include (but are not limited to) yard work, child care, office work, etc. Students are not screened or interviewed by the advisors of Y.E.S., however, they are in good standing with the school and are interested in working. This service merely makes the connection. The decision to hire, amount of payment, and arrangements are worked out directly between the student and the employer.
How it works: Students complete the Youth Employment Application Form with their contact, availability and interest information. Employers who have a job to be filled can leave a voice mail message (201-785-2300 x 21982), email the program administrator (firstname.lastname@example.org) or fill out the online Job Intake form. Email is preferred, and often will get the quickest response.
If you have any questions about the program, please email the YES administrator (email@example.com)
This service is independently offered by the PTSO in order to facilitate the job search process for RHS students. The YES program is also advertised in local Ramsey papers to help connect students with potential employers. The PTSO does not do background or criminal history records checks concerning individuals who may desire to utilize the services of Ramsey students, nor does the Ramsey School District or the Board of Education oversee or supervise or participate in any aspect of this service. Thus, we highly recommend that parents become aware of the details of any potential job that their child may consider accepting.
