• Adjustment disorder is a group of symptoms, such as stress, feeling sad or hopeless, and physical symptoms that can occur after you go through a stressful life event.

     

    Causes of adjustment disorder can include:

     

    • Parents divorce
    • Changing school settings
    • Questioning sexuality or identity 
    • Death of a loved one

    Symptoms of adjustment disorder:

     

    • Excessive nervousnesss
    • Feeling hopeless
    • Imulsive behvior
    • Insomnia 
    • Anxiety attacks
    • Lack of interest in life
