Adjustment disorder is a group of symptoms, such as stress, feeling sad or hopeless, and physical symptoms that can occur after you go through a stressful life event.
Causes of adjustment disorder can include:
- Parents divorce
- Changing school settings
- Questioning sexuality or identity
- Death of a loved one
Symptoms of adjustment disorder:
- Excessive nervousnesss
- Feeling hopeless
- Imulsive behvior
- Insomnia
- Anxiety attacks
- Lack of interest in life

However, changing schools or facing any of these issues does not always result in adjustment disorder. If you, or someone you know, is struggling consider talking to them or a professional.
