Early Dismissal Procedures
In order to avoid interrupting instruction, a request for an early dismissal from a regularly assigned class is to be presented in writing to the attendance office no later than 7:55 a.m.

Early dismissal requests must include:
· Student’s name and grade
· Parent's home, cellular, or business telephone number
· Name of parent/guardian who will take the student off school grounds
· Reason for the request
· Parent signature and date
Students following this process will be given an early dismissal pass from the attendance office. Your child will meet you outside of the school, it is not necessary for you to come into the building. Requests for early dismissal will be verified by telephone if an early dismissal form is not presented to the attendance office. if the parent cannot be contacted, the early dismissal will not be approved.
In the rare event that a student forgets to bring an early dismissal form to the attendance office in the am, an email communication will suffice. Please include the student's name and grade in the subject line. The body of the email must include the reason for the early dismissal, the time of the early dismissal, (dismissal must be in between classes, not during a class) and a parent contact number. You may access class schedules under the attendance office tab, Important Links, then bell schedules, to ensure the time of dismissal is in between classes.
