    Mission statement:

     DECA is an association of marketing students.  It is a student organization designed to enhance the co-curricular education of students with interests in marketing, management, and entrepreneurship.  DECA helps students develop career skills and competence, build self-esteem, experience leadership and practice community service. 

    Main goals/events:

    1. Attend the regional, state, and national DECA competitions to put newly acquired skills into practice (Ramapo College, Atlantic City, Atlanta Georgia)

    2. Run community service events such as the PowerPuff football game.

    3. Put 21st century skills into practice by writing either an 11 or 30 page research/project based paper and present the research in a 15 minute interactive presentation.
