Philosophy

The Ramsey High School Swim program is very proud of their tradition of excellence. We strive to be solid citizens in and out of the pool.

• All swimmers will adopt a "Team First" attitude driven by competition, loyalty and spirit.

• All swimmers will develop the tools to build self-confidence.
• All swimmers will push themselves throughout the season to improve personal performance

Expectations/Cut Policy

Each swimmer must have all their paperwork completed prior to the beginning of the season.  Each swimmer is expected to attend all practices, including any dryland workouts.  If for whatever reason the individual cannot make a practice it is expected they communicate that to the Head Coach.  There are no cuts made.  However, if the swimmer struggles during tryouts, alternative roles on the team will be offered, such as Team Manager, Timer, or Scorekeeper.

Official Schedule:

Our first practice will be Monday, November 20, 2023 at Passaic County Tech Pool in Wayne, New Jersey.  

Practices are held Monday through Thursday, 7:45 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.  We will have Dryland workouts on Fridays, immediately after school.  Bus transportation will ONLY be provided for Meets.  Our Meet schedule is TBD at this time and will be sent out when finalized.

Earning a Varsity Letter 

In order to earn a Varsity letter, a swimmer must have perfect attendance or score in at least half of the Meets.
