SPRING SING- Congratulations to our 1st and 2nd grade students on an exceptional performance at this year's Spring Sing. Under the direction of our very talented music teacher, Mrs. Quinn, the students shared their array of talents through song and dance on Wednesday, May 27, 2014. The performance was enjoyed by all who attended.
GROW LAB - Students in grades 1-3 recently planted in the Grow Lab. Our indoor light garden allowed students to plant a variety of herbs, vegetables and flowers in newspaper pots. The seeds will get their start in the Grow Lab and then be transplanted into our Courtyard Habitat using soil from our composter. Pictured is Mrs. Smith assisting students during their scheduled Grow Lab time.
2014 PRINCIPAL FOR THE DAY- First Grader, Anthony Irving, was the winner of this year's RPEF Teacher Treasure Silent Auction from the Ladies Night Out event. Principal Irving led our All School Sing assembly, read to students, visited classrooms, enjoyed lunch with Mrs. Aliano and friend and made a special announcement of NO HOMEWORK for the evening. Anthony served as an excellent leader of Tisdale School for the day! Pictured is Anthony sending emails to some of the teachers and students after visiting their classrooms. Don't you love his blue and gold tie?
READ ACROSS AMERICA- Tisdale School celebrated Read Across America week from March 3-7. Students participated in grade level activities, enjoyed sharing favorite titles and had a visitor from the Cat in the Hat (Mrs. Aliano).
