    As you are aware, this school year the district has not used two weather-related emergency days. In accordance with the provisions of the official 2016-2017 school calendar, I am happy to announce that the Ramsey Public Schools will be closed for students on Friday, May 26, and Tuesday, May 30. Please enjoy an extended Memorial Day holiday!

  • RSD District Visual Arts Show

    The Ramsey Public Schools district-wide Visual Arts Show will take place on Tuesday May 9th and Wednesday May 10th. Select art works from students in all five schools in the district will be on display in the Mitchell Gym at Ramsey High School and will be open to the public from 6:30 – 8:30 PM on May 9th and from 6:30 – 8:00 PM on May 10th. In addition, works will be featured of seniors at Ramsey High School who plan on majoring in art. Click headline for more information:

  • A Timely Message - "13 Reasons Why" -

    Perhaps you have heard that on March 31st Netflix released a new series called “13 Reasons Why”. If you are not aware of this, you should know that the youth you may come into contact with have most probably heard of it and may have already watched it. This series has become an instant attraction to young people. Across the country, youth are binge watching this series and are reacting to it with friends and on social media.“13 Reasons Why” is a series about a young high school girl, Hannah, who takes her own life and sends out 13 cassette tapes to those whom she blames for her death.   • Water Test Results

    The State of New Jersey requires all drinking water in our school facilities to be tested for lead during the 2016-2017 school year. The Ramsey Public Schools are currently conducting those tests. Click to see the results of the schools we have received. We will post results within 24 hours of notification for Dater School.

Parent Updates

    NOTIFICATION METHOD: Update your e-mail and phone numbers for your contact information and preferred method of notification (text, call, e-mail) in the Parent Portal to receive important notifications, such as school closures.
    UPDATING CONTACTS: Contact e-mail addresses and phone numbers can be updated by you. Deleting or adding contacts or any changes to the home address must be made via your school's secretary. Allow two days for updating.

    ANSWERING QUESTIONS: Answer all questions in the Portal for each child.  Allow two days for updating. Answer the question regarding your health insurance under the health insurance tab (include carrier).
    FAMILY ON-LINE DIRECTORY: Is now available for 2016-2017 year under the Documents tab in the Portal.
