In June, eighty-four Ramsey High School Leadership students, along with seven staff chaperones, traveled for a service and exploration trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands . The ethos of the World Challenge program is to broaden students’ cultural experiences while building their leadership skills. As part of the program, students were engaged with outdoor adventure activities in both the Andes and the Amazon Basin, hiking and exploring the diverse natural environment of the country...(more)
PAX welcomes host families of all kinds who would like to share their heart, home and culture with a young person from Brazil, Italy, Spain, Germany, China or any one of our international students. All PAX students are between the ages of 15 and 18, speak English, have full insurance coverage and come with their own spending money- PAX students arrive in August. Visiting Ramsey High School: The Prospect Street parking lot is for staff only.Visitors are asked to park in the designated visitor spots in the Main Street lot. Do not park in a numbered parking space; these are for staff only. Enter only through the main center door in the front of the building. All visitors will be asked by the greeter for their driver’s license to process a visitor’s pass to access the building. To ensure visitors exit from this door, car keys are checked in at the greeter desk during appointment/meeting and returned upon departure.

GOVERNOR'S SCHOOLS: If you are a junior and interested in attending one of the Governor's Schools during the summer of 2016, please pick up an application from Mrs. Maxwell in Dr. Thumm's office: School of Engineering and Technology or School in the Sciences. Completed applications must be returned to Dr. Thumm's office by Friday, December 11th.
