Citizen of the Month
Each month teachers nominate and our school recognizes students who project outstanding citizenship traits. We recognize the recipients with a certificate at the next month's Spirit Day assembly. Selection is based on the students' demonstrating any or all of the following traits during a given month. You will see all components of our Code of Behavior are included in the list.
Assumes responsibilities for assignments.
Respects other people's feelings.
Is cooperative.
Is helpful to others.
Is kind and caring.
Treats others the way he/she likes to be treated.
Respects other people's property.
Sets a positive example.
Takes responsibility for his/her own behavior.
Obeys school and playground rules.
Comes to school mentally and physically prepared to learn.
Looks for peaceful solutions when settling differences.
Respects teachers and other adults.
