Grading System
Grades are based on points. The more points an assignment is worth, the bigger the impact it will have on students' grades. Some homework assignments are not graded. These assignments are worth 5 points. If a student completes an "ungraded" assignment, he or she will earn the full 5 points. If the assignment is partially complete, the student will earn 2.5 out of 5 points. If the assignment is incomplete, the student will earn 0 out of 5 points. When a student earns a zero on any type of assignment, it weighs heavy on his or her average.
