Look under your child's school and click on a title to see what enrichment workshops are coming their way!
The Ramsey Community School and the Ramsey High School are teaming up to offer your child a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting new workshop program being designed specially for students in Ramsey’s Extended Day program called 'Kids Teaching Kids'.  With their high school teacher’s oversight, the RHS student’s will develop and write the workshop curriculum as well as instruct the Extended Day students on site at their school. It's a wonderful opportunity for these students to experience teaching and all it's facets as well as mentor children in the lower grades.

The pilot workshop, 'Kids Cooking Club' was successfully offered this fall at Tisdale School and continues through June. Extended Day aftercare students will have the benefit of experiencing a hands-on culinary workshop which incorporates nutrition and diet, cooking skills, kitchen safety, and social skills.

Throughout the school year a variety of Kids Teaching Kids workshops will be offered to the Extended Day (RED) students only.  Please make sure your child attends aftercare on the workshop date. Registration forms will be available at the school's aftercare site and the YCP office located in the Dater School, room 130.
